Basically started off as a daily fairly stock, decided to build it up as a track biased car, driven on the road a couple of times a week, did 1 track day in it, decided to take motor out and build up motor and get everything nice and strong, car progressed further and further.

Car is REGISTERED so can be a street car but as I said its mainly biased towards track with the stripped interior/rollcage etc.

Basically just spent over 8g on motor/turbo setup alone, motor has just been run in, not even power tuned yet, but is capable of around 270-280rwkw.
Brand new motor just been run in.
Rb25gearbox and brand new 1 peice tailshaft
Brand new extreme 5 puk button clutch and racing light flywheel
Brand new ss manifold, turbo, external gate, screamer, dump etc
Brand new project mu handbrake shoes
Resprayed less than 1000k's ago
Brand new dunlip direzza dz101's all round
All steering arms/components were changed less than 1000k's ago
Body is straight no dints etc
Lots of other goodies

The negatives:

-Needs lifters changed as they are noisy
Needs new hub bearings in the rear
-Gauges/gauge controller/boost controller/turbo timer need to be hooked up, all wiring is in the car, just not hooked up atm so a bit messy atm until they are hooked up.

Asking price $12000 (Realistically I am losing ALLOT of money on this considering I spent allot more than this asking price on the mod list alone)

Unique sell an adaptor to go from your standard 280mm disk to 324mm (using the cast iron caliper), but when going on a GTR Aluminium Caliper, they had to mill out a section to clear the hub.

Reason for selling, just bought new set of R888's on 16's, so don't want to spend another $2g's on rims and new rubber.

These bolt straight on and include all the hardware (caliper will need to be machined or filed slightly to fit larger bolt or you can get a smaller bolt) and if Melbourne based, I can throw in a set of 350Z 324mm disks that have been freshly machined and have 29.2mm of meat left of them.

This package cost me:

$350 for standard adaptors
$100 for machining and frieght
$180 for disks

im here to get rid of my kakamoto exhaust as i need a standard one as people in my street keep complaning.

basically i dont know if this matters. but its on a nissan 180sx type s, so its a N/A exhaust.

from extractors backwards its a 3inch exhaust with a 4" cannon? i dont know. its kinda bronzeish in colour. has a dint in the cannon as from speed bumps but can easily be fixed at any exhaust shop.

what im looking for is just a standard 2.5inch exhaust system. from extractors to the end. straight swap.

what id like to know also is would a n/a s13 exhaust fit on a n/a 180sx? seing as most of the parts do.

I've read other threads by people with similar "ish" issues, but no one seems to be in the exact same boat as me.

The problem sprung up about 6 months on a road trip of about 200km to Sandy Point. Toward the end of the journey there, when the car was in 5th gear and i put my foot down at around 100km an hour, the power would come in bursts, as though i was kicking the accelerator as opposes to applying it softly as i was.
The problem didn't seem to happen in other gears at the time, just in 5th.

I didn't drive the car for the week that we were by the beach, but about 50km into the journey home the power cuts were so bad that maintaing the speed limit wasn't possible. I pulled over, and the idle sounded really damn weak and was bouncing between about 700 and 900 rpm, when it usually sat right on 1000rpm.

Being 150kms out of Melbourne and not having nearly enough for a tow truck from woop woop, i drove the car home. Probably the worst motoring experience of my life, the problem was now happening in every gear, at any rpm, at any speed, but i did eventually get the car home.

I left the car for a few days and the problem suddenly fixed itself and the car drove normally again for about 3 months then it started playing up again.

I cleaned the afm with electrical contact cleaner thinking that might do the trick, and the problem went away right away. Then about 2 months later it f**ked up again and now cleaning the afm does jack shit.

The engine resides in a 93 180sx.

Power FC (no hand controller)
Forged pistons
GT2871r running 17psi
Im pretty sure 550cc injectors
Nismo fuel rail
full 3 inch exhaust with cat back

all together makes 201rwkw

Right now the car is virtually impossible to drive, when you put your right foot down (not pedal to the metal but just normally) it just about feels like the car is turning itself on and off.

So yeah, if anyone knows whats going on with my 180 please help me out, because this f**king sucks.

Runs really well. Very happy with it. But I have about 2 years'ish to save up for an S14. So I dont really want to spend too much on the gemmy.

Its has factory air-con but I think it needs to be re-gassed. I am the second owner and it has only done 118,000k's. I had to roll the guards cause the wheels sorta stick out past the guards a lil'. But it still scraps. Posted Image

main issue at the moment is in CoD 4, it won't go above 60fps.
max fps is set to a high limit, but still wont go above 60.

doesn't dip either though, running through smoke, explosions etc..just sits on 59/60 all the time.

any suggestions to fix this?

i read that you can't get a higher FPS than your screen hZ, which is 60 for me. but it definitely used to get to 100+ so not sure what's happening

im using the drivers off the CD that came with it. there is a newer version of the driver out which i tried but it complete f**ked things, had errors about driver not matching the GPU, couldnt change the 640x480 desktop resolution etc...so reverted back to the stock drivers.

drives wicked just serviced and still has 11/2 months rego on it, no problems drive wise just a few dents on driver side.

hmm thats about it really, starting new rotation on job in city so car is going to be back to collecting more dust, will give me chance to sort out some issues which include fouling exhaust after clutch install GRRRR and a worn bearing type sound from lhs wheel(iv replaced the entire hub with a new one and still hasnt fixed it) also due in for a much needed wheel alignment doesnt handle aswell as it used to. Anywho here are some pics im not very artistic lol so there nothing special. What do you all think?all suggestions/criticisms are welcome whether good or bad lol its all constructive in my mind
